Whether you need working capital, equipment finance, or a cash flow facility — Probiz Finance offers flexible solutions with competitive rates and minimal paperwork. Real results, no mountains of documentation.
Banks and mainstream lenders are built for salaried employees and established corporate accounts. If you're self-employed, a sole trader, or your income doesn't fit a payslip — you get rejected before they've understood your business. Low doc finance exists to change that. You shouldn't need a filing cabinet of paperwork to access the capital your business has already earned.
Many low doc products only need your ABN history and bank statements — no full financials required.
A credit score of 550 or above is sufficient for many low doc asset finance products — far below bank thresholds.
Equipment finance is secured by the asset itself — you don't need to put your home on the line to fund a truck or machine.
Low documentation finance is designed for business owners whose income is real but hard to verify through traditional methods. Instead of tax returns and full accountant-prepared financials, lenders assess your application using bank statements, ABN history, and the strength of the asset or security involved.
Bank statements, ABN details, ID, and a statement of assets and liabilities. For smaller amounts, that's often enough — no tax returns, no accountant letters.
Rather than taxable income, lenders look at cash flow through your bank account, trading history, and the quality of the asset or security backing the loan.
Indicative approval is typically fast. Once formal approval and documents are in place, funds are settled quickly. Timeframes depend on lender and documentation.
Self-employed operators, sole traders, contractors, trusts, and small business owners whose taxable income doesn't reflect their true cash flow — often because of depreciation, negative gearing, business reinvestment, or recent transitions to self-employment. If your bank account shows a healthy business but your tax return doesn't, low doc is built for you.

Bank statements, ABN details, and ID. We keep it lean — low doc means we don't ask for what we don't need.

Before founding Probiz, Pooja spent years inside NAB and ANZ assessing business lending from the credit side of the table. She knows what lenders actually look for — and how to package a low doc application for the strongest possible outcome. We're a broker, not a lender: we compare 50+ lenders and structure your file for approval rather than sending you to a single bank that may not suit your situation.

For most low doc products under $100K, you typically need one form of ID, a statement of assets and liabilities, and bank statements. For amounts between $100K–$250K, an asset finance credit reference or mortgage statements are also required. For $250K+, ATO portal access is generally needed. We'll guide you through exactly what's required for your application.
Not always. For equipment and asset finance under $100K, non-property owners can still qualify. For larger amounts and business loans, property — including a spouse or partner's property — typically results in better rates and higher approval chances. We assess your full profile and find the lender whose criteria you best meet.
For low doc asset finance, a credit score of 550 or above (Veda 1:1 corporate and individual) is the typical starting point. For amounts over $100K or for business loans, a score of 600+ is generally preferred. We work with a wide lender panel and will match you to the lender whose credit criteria fits your situation.
Indicative approval for many low doc products can be issued within hours of submitting a complete application. Formal approval and settlement typically follows within 24–48 hours for asset finance. Business loan timeframes vary depending on the lender and complexity of your file. Timeframes are indicative only — not guaranteed under ACL requirements.
Low doc generally requires ABN history, ID, and bank statements — no full financials. Mid doc sits in between, typically requiring 6 months of business bank statements and stronger credit criteria. For amounts over $500K, full doc (complete accountant-prepared financials) is usually required. We'll match you to the right tier based on your profile.
Yes — for business loans and overdraft facilities, sole traders can apply. For low doc asset finance above $100K, some lenders exclude sole traders from the highest tier. For our Start-Up product and equipment finance under $100K, sole traders are generally eligible. We'll clarify exactly which products suit your entity type.
Probiz Finance is a commercial finance broker, not a lender. We compare options across 50+ lenders — banks, non-banks, and specialist financiers — and package your application to maximise your chances of approval at the best available rate. All rates quoted are indicative only and subject to change. Your actual rate will depend on your credit profile, asset type, loan amount, term, and the lender's assessment at the time of application. We'll confirm the rate in writing before you commit to anything — there are no surprises at settlement.
